As we perfectly knew the industrial issues, our various skills allowed us to develop a specific sector : the turnkey plant transfer.
The transfer notion appeared in the early 80’s. In that time, Europe had weighted means of production, non obsolete ones but overcapacited ones. Those production tools could have a "second life" in developing countries. The first transfer, a car shredder line, was realized from Italy to France, in the early 80’s. Then, HIOLLE Industries multiplied such transfers, not only in Europe but also in other continents (Asia, South America, North Africa).
Since 1994, the group has initiated a new activity : the plant dismantling. In 1994, the steel factory USINOR settled in CAEN was dismantled to be sent in China. What a successful operation it was! 30,000 tonnes (3 Eiffel'tower) were dismantled and sent to HANDAN (china). Such work lasted for 18 months. It was the first time such operation took place.
Nowadays, Hiolle Industries is one of the world leaders in that very original sector. Economic globalization, significant growth of emerging countries and their important energetic needs are positive factors to boost this new market of international desmantling transfers.
After dismantling steel plants, the group fulfilled a new energetic need : electricity. It specialized in transfering thermal power plants.

With 20 years of experience, Hiolle industries’group is still achieving turnkey plant transfers, including low and medium tension like automatism.

Logistics : a support for industrial transfers
Logistics, meanwhile it is not the heart of our business, is essential for industrial transfers. Indeed, when we dismantle a plant, we have to list thousands of elements. A very fastidious labor requiring a perfect organization (from dismantling to reassemblying without forgetting packaging, transport …). Hiolle industries has developped an enclosed multimodal platform (almost 100,000 m2) near Trith Saint Leger (North of France). The site is settled near motorways desserving Paris Brussels Lille Dunkerque, canals (clearance= 3000 tonnes) and railways extended inside the building.
