HIOLLE Industries' group which has a solid practice in the industrial sector for more than thirty years and, mindful of environmental issues, has decided to dedicate its strategic axis on sustainable development by moving into renewable energy sector, notably solar thermal energy.
As HIOLLE Industries' group wished to increase its photovoltaic sector, it created a subsidiary: HIOLLE énergies. It is committed to very high-tech in solar energy sector, various partnerships firmed for this :
HIOLLE Energies offers turnkey photovoltaic plants to industry.
The turnkey solution includes financing, installation, utilization and maintenance of the plant for a long time. So, HIOLLE Energies will be an electricity producer. Every project can be hold up by a specific operating company.
In order to prove its proficiency according to photovoltaic technology and in order to demonstrate that such projects can be achieved in the north of France, the group decided to invest, in a first time, in its own photovoltaic plant settled in Valenciennes.
A photovoltaic plant with 1,155 Mwc will be installed on HIOLLE Industries headquarters. Some 10,000 m2 solar panels will be installed on the roof. There will be divided in 5 parts of 2,000 m2. Each part will permit us to test, study and improve the industrial process and the electrical output performance.
Another one was settled in October of 2007 at the headquarter gateway. It has to do with our own demonstration and photovoltaic research centre which function is the detailed analysis of the output production with a 30 m2 prototype in order to optimise the energetic output for a 10,000 m2 area. So, every day, "Wattabri" records data on output production drawing tendency curves.
This new and strategic axis requires constant innovation and global approach to market:
